Scream of the Butterfly (Berlin) / The Loose Cut / Blow-Up

SCREAM OF THE BUTTERFLY

Berlin vintage rockers SCREAM OF THE BUTTERFLY work a tinge of grunge into their forward rhythmic fuzz & Hammond driven music, influenced by the sound that exploded in the sixties and spread its wings in the seventies.

The solid power of massive riffs topped with melodic hooks and a distinctly modern rock-vocal style deliver an energetic stage performance combined with a road trip feeling.

THE LOOSE CUT

Emerging from their triumphant sets at Reading & Leeds Festival in 2019 on the BBC Introducing Stage, Leeds based 4-piece alt-rock band THE LOOSE CUT’s single Demons created such social media activity that it found itself included on Spotify’s “Hot New Bands” playlist.

The prestigious festival slots were followed up by a UK tour including a sold-out home town show at Oporto in Leeds. 2020 was theirs for the taking, and then the World stopped still!

"West Yorkshire’s alternative to Kings of Leon” – Chris Hawkins, BBC 6Music

During the 2020 lockdown period, the band decided to release end of set crowd favourite ‘Haunt’ as the next single, and despite not being able to get out on the road to promote it, the song received airplay and high praise from BBC 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins, calling the track “a real anthem”, as well as being picked up on by Planet Rock presenter Wyatt Wendels who also played the tune on his show.

BLOW-UP

Lo-fi three piece band from Blackpool, wielding a guitar that's full of fuzz, experimental drums, and taking influence from a multitude of genres and styles. They are Psychedelic, Punk, Disco craziness, Dirty noise and happy vibes!

SCREAM OF THE BUTTERFLY, THE LOOSE CUT and BLOW-UP are here on Friday 16th September. Doors at 8pm.
