Award winning The Laughienda Comedy Club returns to Preston for 2024 with another big night of comedy, headlined by the INCREDIBLE Scott Bennett! 🔥

Recently described by the Evening Standard as “Live Comedy’s best kept secret” Scott Bennett has been blazing a trail through the stand-up circuit for the best part of a decade. He’s written for many high profile acts such as Chris Ramsey and Jason Manford, and recently recorded his debut on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo. In massive demand as a comedy writer and with regular appearances on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quizand The Now Show, Scott is an act on the verge of breaking through into the big time.

Growing up with his parents immigrating to Canada from England & Ireland, Kevin has sold out theatres across the country and has amassed a large and loyal online following. His relatability and cheeky comedic timing create a perfect storm guaranteed to leave every audience wanting more.

MEL OWEN

Mel Owen, dubbed "Wales’ most exciting new act” (Clwb Comedy), is an award-winning comedian with wins under her belt from Comedy Smash (Liverpool), Comedy Virgins (London) and Comedy Chest (Bristol). Her debut work-in-progress show featured at last year’s Manchester Comedy Festival, with critics pinning her as “one to watch”. Mel has script writing credits on BBC Cymru Wales and Channel 4, and created one of Wales’ most popular podcasts Mel Mal Jal, now on BBC Sounds.

The evening will be hosted by The Laughięnda Comedy Club's very own Jack Kelly!
